The Biggest List of Green Cartoon Characters Ever

Kermit once sang “It’s hard being green.” Or is it? This cartoon character has been a huge success on TV, appearing in only a few episodes or as a star in their own series. 1. Hulk

Hulk is the greenest of all green characters. Dr. Bruce Banner. In 1966, he leaped from comic books to star in Marvel Super Heroes. Hulk has appeared in many other cartoons since then, including The Incredible Hulk/Amazing Spider-Man Hour and The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. 2. Beast Boy

Beast Boy is part of the Teen Titans, which is a group consisting of DC superheroes led by Robin (of Batman & Robin). Beast Boy appeared in Teen Titans, Tokyo, and Teen Titans. He is now a star in Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go! His great sense of humor helps him hide the pain from his past.

3. She-Hulk

She-Hulk–a.k.a. Jennifer Walters is the female version of The Hulk. She can control her transformation, unlike The Hulk. She was a member of the Avengers team and the Fantastic Four, taking Thing’s place temporarily. She’s been in Marvel’s Hulk, The Agents of Smash and The Super Hero Squad Show, Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes, and The Incredible Hulk.

Jen Walters is the cousin of Dr. Bruce Banner (Hulk). Banner saved her life by giving her a blood transfusion after she was attacked by a crime lord. His blood, which was gamma radiation-rich, made her She-Hulk.

4. Kang and Kodos

Kang and Kodos appear as green aliens in The Simpsons. They’ve appeared in every episode of “Treehouse of Horror”, the annual Halloween special. We discovered that Kang and Kodos were females in 2015’s “The Man Who Came To Be Dinner.”

The very first “Treehouse of Horror” features Kang and Kodos abducting the Simpsons. Lisa claims that the aliens have been gaining weight to eat Lisa.

5. Green Goblin

Spider-Man’s foe, the Green Goblin. He is sometimes drawn to green skin. Other times, it’s just his bodysuit that’s green. He uses a glider to fly and his weapon of choice is a bomb disguised as a pumpkin. He has appeared in Spider-Man TV’s original cartoon as well as Spider-Man: The Animated Series and Spider-Man Unlimited.

Norman Osborn was the Green Goblin after he used a super-serum made by Osborn Industries. He was able to gain incredible strength and speed at the cost of his sanity.

6. Mad Hatter

Mad Hatter is a Batman villain who is actually Jervis Teeth. He often wears a green suit with an oversized top cap that reminds me of the one in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. He’s appeared in The Batman/Superman Hour and Batman: The Animated Series.

Jervis Tetch, an Arkham Asylum patient, has an unhealthy obsession with Alice in Wonderland. He is both a neuroscientist and an inventor. He wears mind-controlling hats in order to cause havoc at Arkham Asylum as well as Gotham City.

7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Raphael and Donatello are brothers who are ninja turtles. They become stronger and smarter fighters under the guidance of Master Splinter. This helps protect New York City residents from mutants. These green reptiles have seen many incarnations. They were part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV animated cartoon, some specials made for TV, and now the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film.

The half-shell turtles that love pizza started as turtles. They became the four ninjas that we love after they were given a special serum.

8. Plankton

Plankton, the green-eyed enemy of Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants, is Plankton. He has failed many times in his attempts to steal the Krabby Patty recipe. He has been the villain in many episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. However, he also starred as the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie’s antagonist.

9. Yoda

Yoda is the Jedi master in Star Wars Universe. He was in every Star Wars movie except the fourth. He was also seen in the TV cartoons (by Genndy Tarkowski), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (from Dave Filoni), as well as the Lego cartoon.

Yoda was a Jedi Youngling and Padawan for over 800 years. He was a major figure in the Clone Wars. He trained Luke Skywalker to defeat Darth Vader towards the end of his own life.

10. Kermit

Kermit famously sang “It’s hard being green.” Kermit is most well-known in his Muppet avatar, but he was also an animated character in Muppet Babies which ran for 107 episodes.

Jim Henson’s most well-known creation is Kermit the Frog. Kermit has appeared in Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, as well as several feature films including Muppets Most, Wanted in 2014.
