The IELTS test includes four components namely reading, listening, writing, and speaking. So, to get a good group score, you need to be willing to score in four rounds.
IELTS Score Band
IELTS is a score on a 9 – group scale. This reflects different levels of English users.
- Similar to that you will be given a score from 1 to 9 for each of the four parts of the test namely speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The average score we get for the four components is defined as our total.
- This does not mean that we can bring a good score in both categories and an average score in the other two categories. That means you need to carry a good score in all four categories in order to get a good average score.
- The score for the IELTS test is from 0 to 9. You can get your total score as (5.0, 6.0, 7.0) or half as (5.5, 6.5, 7.5) . The 9 is the maximum and the minimum IELTS score is 1. Each score speaks for different types of English language users. There is nothing like qualifying or failing the test.
Well, we need to talk about the different group symbols and their meanings.
